i've started a self portrait in the style of my favourite sculptor. this is only a few hours work but i thought it would be fun to post up a work in progress picture. it might be the only picture around if it gets too difficult for me :P

Oooo! Fun! :) i've only sculpted with clay once but i really liked it. Yours looks like its coming along good, hope you finish it!

thanks, yea im going to my studio to get more done on it. im excited about it so ill see where it goes. you got a nice eye for photography, keep it up!

cool, yea i got it blocked out as you can see, its now a matter of taking more photos and working on the likeness.. like its something easy haha.. my favourite sculptor is Frans Xavier Messerschmidt, i wanted to do something similar, like me pulling a weird face and sculpting it. if you read up why he made these its cool, he was crazy :)

Nice work. I'm in a pottery class at present, I find sculpting takes a special talent I don't have. I always admire the talents of others.
