i chose to sculpt a old man head as i found the aged face very interesting and beautiful in its shape and form. i spent about 10 or 15 hours on this sculpt, right after sculpting the skull. i was really enjoying it but i ran into a little problem and ended up taking the piece back to a lump style shape then never got time to go back to it, other pieces like makeup and teaching got in the way. i will attempt another old age portrait again, as i look at this, though it has many floors in its blocking out stage, there is still something there, i like what was happening in the sculpture and always think what it would have looked like finished in silicon.
